Actively engage in the production of fee-based client financial plans that are delivered by Financial Planning Strategists and other Wealth Division personnel across BB&T’s footprint.

Perform data input and generate client financial plans in cash-flow based software per best practices and guidelines of the Wealth Division Financial Planning, and as required, review completed data input of other analysts to help maintain high level of quality.
Prioritize and manage workload based on established goals for completion of planning engagements and communicate status of work by using appropriate systems.
Ability to demonstrate detailed knowledge of complex cash-flow based financial planning software by creating solutions when limitations or issues arise on detailed planning concepts with knowledge in estate planning for affluent clients.
Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on detailed and complex knowledge of personal financial issues, regulations, investment philosophies, planning techniques, and be able to interpret the planning scenarios illustrating the impact on High Net Worth clients.
Research details of various planning techniques and strategies available for High Net Worth client’s individual situations and then work with the Planning Strategist to ensure they are properly illustrated
Suggest relevant information to include in financial plan recommendations to convey importance of next steps in addressing objectives and concerns of affluent client’s financial plan.
Required Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor’s degree in financial services-related discipline such as Business Administration, Accounting, Trust Management, Banking, or Finance
At least two years of professional work experience with demonstrated competency in area(s) of concentration
At least one year of experience in financial planning dealing with affluent clients
Strong technical knowledge of issues relating to financial planning including income tax, investments, debt management, retirement planning, employee benefits, stock options, insurance, and estate planning for high net worth clients
Strong communication and relationship skills
Strong written, verbal, problem-solving, and analytical skills
