To maximize company profits and efficiencies while maintaining the integrity of its financial representations through the performance of complex accounting activities, financial analyses and accounting projects.
Leads and coordinates more complex and advanced accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments
Assists with projects pertaining to complex financial reports and records by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information
Makes recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets and expenditures
Performs variance analysis and prepares account reconciliations
Assists with financial and tax audits projects
Documents and monitors internal controls in support of accounting/finance team
Assists with monitoring compliance with company-wide accounting policies and procedures.
Assists in year-end closing and audits
Assists with accounting business systems projects and upgrades
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a Business Administration degree specializing in Accounting. CPA required.
A minimum of four years of related accounting/auditing experience
Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
Detail-oriented and organized; Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines; Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Familiarity with accounting software and programs; Intermediate to advanced level Excel and Microsoft Word experience
