DESCRIPTION:Responsible for the overall management of Teller Services Department and related functions and services for the Bank. Ensures teller activities run efficiently. Provides leadership, training and guidance.DUTIES/DESCRIPTION: •Manage Teller Services staff through ongoing observation, training and coaching.•Responsible for interviewing and selection of staff, ongoing performance management and employee development, addressing any problem areas appropriately. Prepares staff scheduling to ensure high level of customer service and maximum efficiency.•Provides overrides; resolves complex balancing issues. Develops teller policies to protect customer deposits, bank assets, and staff.•Resolves complex customer problems or complaints as related to teller transaction or services provided.•Monitoring of CTR and SAR processing, counterfeit items, fraud situations, lock box arrangements. Performs related duties regarding cash audits, vendor contracts, supplies.•Supports staff by approving/overseeing transaction as needed, assisting with balancing issues and verifications of cash outages.•Promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate personnel for new services.
