Responsibilities and Time Allocation will change over time to meet the needs of the practice
Associate Financial Advisor
Become fully licensed and certified, if not already (Series 7, Series 66, Life and Health, APMA Designation and eventual CFP Designation)
Work with Marketing Department and other growth-focused advisors to create and develop a comprehensive and ongoing marketing plan for client acquisition
Acquire new clients, assets and financial planning relationships
Provide comprehensive financial planning/advice and asset management services
Meet with clients based on service needs and assets with our firm
Work within Ethos Financial Partners systems and guidelines
Contribute to advisor committees to maintain/improve various products and services

Bachelor’s degree at a 4-year college
At least one year of a successful career in sales
Comfortable with sales and the selling process to build a client base
Regulatory licensing, APMA designation, and CFP classes are mandatory (We will sponsor these and work with you to get licensed if not already)
Work in the Thornton, Colorado office
Work necessary hours to build a successful client base. Weekly activities include marketing events, lead generation, client meetings, administrative duties, etc.
Sales skills to market to and meet new prospective clients, and engage them to become new clients
Ability to follow a goal-based sales plan
High Emotional Competency
Comfortable and capable with public speaking
Comfortable meeting with clients in person, over the phone and via webinar
Team player, able to contribute and work in a team environment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to utilize the practice’s systems and processes for working with clients and contribute ideas to both as they are always evolving
Eventual potential to be assigned clients to work with from other members of the team
$40k salary to start if unlicensed while studying/testing and building your marketing plan (initial studying/licensing and testing should be complete in 3 - 4 months or sooner if very motivated).
$45k salary plus lucrative bonus plan if already licensed, or once licensed, and depending on experience.
Eventual shift to compensation based on client base, client acquisition, new assets (net flows) and financial planning. A successful candidate would be on track for a six-figure income within 4 years.
