Company Overview
Mig Murphy Sistrom, CPA, PC is a busy, small, progressive CPA firm that exclusively serves nonprofit organizations. We develop accounting systems that give management the information they need for grant reporting, tax reporting, and internal decision-making; provide training and support to build capacity within the nonprofit; and provide accounting services that cannot be effectively performed in-house. The guiding strategic principles of the firm are responsiveness and superior quality, and we intentionally have a small firm so that we can offer our clients maximum flexibility. We also believe strongly in the work of our clients, who range from providers of human services to progressive religious-based organizations to groups of community organizers advocating for radical social change.
Company History
The firm was founded in 2002 as a sole proprietorship, and has since grown to a very busy staff of six (now seeking a seventh). Our work has always been focused exclusively on nonprofits.
