About the Opportunity

Working closely with the CFO and key stakeholders, you will play an important role in supporting the finance function across multiple entities. This position offers the chance to move beyond day-to-day transactional work and gain exposure to reporting, compliance, payroll, stakeholder engagement, and month-end processes.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end bookkeeping and day-to-day financial management
• Processing payments and reconciling accounts
• Maintaining the general ledger and supporting month-end close
• Preparing doctor billing reports
• Managing payroll, superannuation, and tax obligations
• Supporting compliance requirements, with assistance from external chartered accountants
• Assisting with monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and P&L preparation
• Liaising professionally with internal staff, suppliers, external accountants, and regulatory bodies

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or financial accounting
• Sound knowledge of Australian payroll, tax, and compliance requirements
• Experience using accounting systems such as Xero, with Employment Hero highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
